Excelsior is based in Albany, NY. Most classes can be taken online there, though most people only take the bare minimum Рthe Capstone course and the Information Literacy course Рand transfer all their credits from elsewhere. Excelsior accepts credits directly from a number of institutions (specifically if they are approved by Touro College), and from any Yeshiva approved by AARTS. Their BA (CLICK HERE for breakdown)  and BS are recognized at the vast majority of graduate colleges and universities.

If you have 116 credits and want a degree, you can transfer them all here, take the required 4 credits, pay roughly $3100 and graduate with a bachelors!

    Hi,

I did a bachelor of science in liberal arts through the yeshiva learning experience (yle). I think that this is a great option for my wife who has also done a year at the seminary called ateres bnos yerushalyim. What are the different options/prices? we are coming to israel after pesach for a couple years and I think this is a great opportunity.

in terms of her preferences, she would like to study at home as much as possible and come in to take exams (like i did with the yle and CLEP exams).

For jewish studies she doesn’t like the heavy textual or grammatical stuff (translating etc). but is more interested in studying english works of torah subjects. is this possible?

for secular studies she is strong in english and wants to use the degree to study psychology so any subjects relating to psychology (sociology, educational psychology etc.) would be something she is very keen on doing.

Please let me know as soon as possible as she is already pursuing other options for getting a b.a

    many thanks,

    alexander robinson
